To appear in SET 2025, the students must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

Shortlisting and Selection Process

Shortlisting for Personal Interaction (PI):

Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interaction (PI) process based on their respective Entrance Test marks. Please check the respective institute website for information and dates of Personal Interaction (PI).

Disclaimer: It is mandatory to attend all components / tests of Personal Interaction (PI) to be eligible for admission to any UG programmes. Only candidates who attend all components / tests of selection process (Personal Interaction (PI) shall be considered as eligible for generation of merit / wait / reject list. Candidates who remain absent for any one of the component / tests will be considered as ineligible for selection process of UG degree programmes of SIU.

  1. Register online on the website set-test.org (up to April 12, 2025).
    Note: Any Changes in the online application form (except test city preferences and admission category) will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. April 12, 2025. No changes shall be permitted after the closing date under any circumstances. No requests for a change of test city or category will be entertained once candidates have completed their Online SET/SITEEE 2025 payment.
  2. A candidate can appear for SET/SITEEE on both the dates May 05, 2025 (Monday) and May 11, 2025, (Sunday). If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.

  3. Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of Online Registration. (Your photograph should not be more than 4 months old).
  4. Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate. Candidates are fully and solely responsible to provide correct information during the application process. If it is found that any information provided by the candidate at the time of filling / submitting the application form is not true, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has the right to cancel the application or admission, at any stage, in accordance with its rules and regulations. Additional Instructions when filling the SET 2025 application form

  1. Any changes in the online application form (except test city preferences and admission category will be entertained only up to the closing date of registration i.e. April 12, 2025 (Saturday)
  2. No changes shall be permitted after the closing date under any circumstances. No requests for a change of test city or category will be entertained once candidates have completed their online SET/SITEEE 2025 payment.
  3. SET/SITEEE 2025 will be conducted in an online mode across 80 cities all over India. A candidate may choose three preferences for test cities.
  4. Your photograph should not be more than 100 kb. Failing to scan and upload the photo as per the defined guidelines, will result in the cancellation of candidature.

Getting admission to Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is a dream for many students. But for that, you will be required to crack the SET entrance exam after 12th and for that, a good deal of preparation is a must.


1. Understanding Your Syllabus

The first and foremost step to prepare for the examination is to familiarize yourself with its syllabus. SET entrance exam after 12th consists of 2 different papers, pertaining to different fields.

The syllabus for each of these papers is different from the others. However, your approach towards it should be the same. Start by identifying your strong and weak points. Once you are done, prepare a schedule to work on acing your strong areas and strengthen your weak areas to save your score during the exam.

  • SET/SITEEE results will be declared on May 22, 2025 (Thursday), on the website.
  • After the declaration of the SET 2025 results, the institute (offering the programme(s) for which you have paid) will conduct further selection processes for short-listed candidates. The schedule for the same will be published on the website of the respective institute(s).
  • SET/SITEEE 2025 score will be valid only for admission to select programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for the academic year 2025-26. Admissions to the selected programmes at Symbiosis International (Deemed University) are strictly based on merit, and assessment of individual performance in the respective Entrance Test for Undergraduate Studies prescribed by the University.

Additional Instructions when filling the SET 2025 application form

  1. Any changes in the online application form (except test city preferences and admission category will be entertained only up to the closing date of registration i.e. April 12, 2025 (Saturday)
  2. No changes shall be permitted after the closing date under any circumstances. No requests for a change of test city or category will be entertained once candidates have completed their online SET/SITEEE 2025 payment.
  3. SET/SITEEE 2025 will be conducted in an online mode across 80 cities all over India. A candidate may choose three preferences for test cities.
  4. Your photograph should not be more than 100 kb. Failing to scan and upload the photo as per the defined guidelines, will result in the cancellation of candidature.

  • SET/SITEEE results will be declared on May 22, 2025 (Thursday), on the website.
  • After the declaration of the SET 2025 results, the institute (offering the programme(s) for which you have paid) will conduct further selection processes for short-listed candidates. The schedule for the same will be published on the website of the respective institute(s).
  • SET/SITEEE 2025 score will be valid only for admission to select programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for the academic year 2025-26. What are the eligibility criteria for admission of candidates belonging to the 'Foreign Nationals' category?

Foreign Nationals are exempted from appearing for SET/SITEEE 2025 and have to apply through Symbiosis Center for International Education (https://scie.ac.in/)

SCIE earmarks 20% of the total intake of the respective program for international students which include, Foreign Nationals (FN), Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Card Holders, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders, and Non-Resident Indians (NRI).

Is there negative marking in the SET question paper?

There is no negative marking in SET exam.

Who can apply for SET exam 2025?

The application criteria for SET application is standard XII (10+2) pass students from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).

Can I pay the SET application fee offline?

Yes, you can make an offline payment by submitting a Demand Draft (DD) from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Is there any marks relaxation for the reserved category student in the SET exam?

There is a reservation policy for students from minorities and other categories but no grace marks in the SET exam.

Will there be a PI round for admission to Symbiosis International (Deemed University) institutes or the SET exam score is the only criteria for admission?

Once you have met the cut-off of the entrance test, you will be eligible for further Personal Interview (PI) in the next round.
