SET 2024 - Eligibility & Admission Criteria for Defence Personnel Children
Children / Wards of Defence personnel means children/ wards of those Defence Personnel who are serving / retired Defence personnel from Army, Navy, Air Force. Retired Defence personnel are those who fall in the category of ex-servicemen as laid down in Ministry of Defence letter no. 36035/5/85- Est (SCT) dated 14 April 1987. It also includes children of Defence personnel, who died while in service or after retirement
The University provides 5 % reservation within the sanctioned intake for Children/ Wards of Defence Personnel in Constituents as listed below:-
- Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Laws (B.A ( LL.B.) Hons.) programme conducted by Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune
- Bachelor of Business Administration & Bachelor of Laws (B.B.A ( LL.B.) Hons.) programme conducted by Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune
- B.C.A (Honours / Honours with Research) programme conducted by Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research [SICSR] - Pune
- B.B.A (Information Technology) - Honours /Honours with Research programme conducted by Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research [SICSR] - Pune
Note: A candidate who is interested to apply under the category “Children/ Wards of Defence Personnel” for any of the abovementioned programmes, should select the category “Children/ Wards of Defence Personnel” for each programme separately.

Note:
- Candidate applying for the above mentioned categories will be required to submit the supporting documents at the time of PI/WAT/ST-PI.
- Candidates applying for Children/wards of Defence Personnel other than above mentioned two institutes (SLS-Pune and SICSR) will be considered as candidates in OPEN Category.
