SET Test 2026 - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- Candidate should not use multiple devices to log in e.g.: mobile, laptop, desktop.
- Candidate should not close the browser window directly; they have to log out from the application form.
- Candidate can check the browser history whether they have logged out or closed the window. If they closed the window, then click on the history view where the application is opened and go to top right-hand side corner of the application and log out.
- When the system gets shut down or power off, they can wait for 30 minutes and then login to the application.
- When the candidate login to the application if it says "user logged in" please wait for 30 minutes. Meanwhile don't try to login from any other device.
Following are the stages you need to ensure for form completion:
- Fill personal details and select the SET/SITEEE test and dates you wish to appear
- Pay entrance test registration fee for SET/ SITEEE is INR 2250/- per test. (Non- refundable and non-transferable)
- In addition to that, you are also expected to pay the programme registration fee of INR 1000/- for each programme that you wish to apply for. (Non-refundable and non-transferable)

Go to https://www.set-test.org/ .Aspirants are expected to view/download and read the SET Bulletin completely before commencing their registration process.
Pay the SET Test registration fee of INR 2250 (Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable) per test till April 12, 2026 (Saturday) as per the instructions mentioned on the website for Payment of the SET Test registration fee.
The applicant has to pay the fee of INR 1000 (Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable) for each programme the aspirants wishes to apply for.
The SET payment schedule has all the important dates mentioned for the payment and registration of the SET exam. Each institute has different deadlines for registration and payment. The candidates need to pay before the respective deadlines.
Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate. No changes shall be permitted after the registration under any circumstances. Candidates are fully and solely responsible to provide correct information during the application process.
A candidate can appear for SET/ SITEEE on both the dates May 05, 2026 (Monday) and May 11, 2026 (Sunday). If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation. There will be no normalization.

SET/SITEEE is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across various cities of India.
