INFRASTRUCTURE

Classrooms

SCMS, Nagpur has air-conditioned, spacious classrooms equipped with interactive smart boards, collar mikes, and a public address system. Our campus is fully Wi-Fi-enabled.

Computer Laboratory

The institute has two well-equipped computer laboratories featuring data analytics software and internet connectivity to facilitate the teaching-learning process.

Library & Reading Room

Our library houses an extensive collection of management & course-specific books, classics, fiction & non-fiction books, periodicals, journals, newspapers, CDs, and DVDs. A key feature is the digital library, which provides access to e-journals, e-books, and online databases. The library reading room is open until midnight.

Corporate Relations Cell (CRC)

To connect with industry and integrate best practices into the classroom, CRC oversees expert sessions, organizes conclaves and conferences, and provides internship and placement opportunities for students.

Clubs and Committees

SCMS, Nagpur empowers students through curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities via clubs, committees, and cells led by faculty members.

Sports and Recreational Facilities

On-campus sports and recreation facilities are among the best, offering numerous outdoor and indoor options. We have fitness centers, air-conditioned table tennis courts, basketball and badminton courts, a futsal court, as well as yoga, aerobics, and Zumba classes. Students can participate in outbound programs and competitions at all levels.

CANTEEN, MESS, HOSTEL & CAMPUS FACILITY :

CAFETERIA

The campus houses a cafeteria that serves multi-cuisine food. Mess - The Campus has a mess that serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian breakfast, lunch, evening snacks & dinner.

HOSTEL:

Hostel facility is available for girls as well as for boys on the campus. Hostel has AC and Non-AC twin / triple sharing, well-furnished rooms with Wi-Fi facility, hot and cold water facilities throughout the day, attached bath & toilets, generator backup, indoor games/recreation rooms with TV, guest rooms, housekeeping, and round-the-clock security. The facility is available on first come first serve basis.

GYMNASIUM :

The campus has a well spacious gym set up with all latest equipment.

HEALTH CARE CENTRE :

The Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) is the Symbiosis family's in-house healthcare service provider. It offers preventive, curative, and promotional health care facilities. SCHC provides Out Patient Department services at all Symbiosis campuses. A team of specialised doctors is on hand for consultation.

ATM

Bank of India has set up an ATM on the campus for the students, faculty and staff.

OUR PROGRAMMES

B.B.A (Honours / Honours with Research)

SIU announces the four-year degree programme with multiple entry and exit options as envisioned in the NEP 2020. The highlights of the new programme offerings are as under

  • The Programme framework allows exciting options to pursue a BBA degree with a Major, a Major and a Minor in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, FinTech and International Business, along with the opportunity to pursue Multidisciplinary, Ability and Skill enhancement courses.
  • Offers a good blend of immersive learning, research and community engagement
  • Includes opportunities for semester exchange programmes with foreign universities
  • Offers the following exit options
    1. A Certificate at the end of the first year of the programme with 44 credits
    2. A Diploma at the end of the first two years of the programme with 84 credits
    3. A UG Degree at the end of 3 years of the programme with 120 credits
    4. A UG Degree with Honours / Research at the end of the 4 years of the programme with 160 credits
  • Offers option of Re-entry within 3 years of exit and 7 years as the maximum permissible period to complete the programme.

  • The students opting for Honours and Honours with Research must achieve a CGPA of 7.5 or above by the end of Semester 6

ELIGIBILITY

B.B.A. - Honours / Honours with Research

Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).

Students who wish to opt for Honours with Research must earn a 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of Semester-6. Eligibility Criteria for multiple entries would be as per University's Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG Programmes.
