Hostel Facilities

There are seven hostels in the institute. There are three girls' blocks and four boys' blocks. The hostel rooms are big and well-ventilated, with plenty of natural light. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet. A steel cot, a study table and chair, and a mattress are provided to each student.

The institute's placement and training cell is exceptionally well-organized. A seminar hall for conducting pre-placement talks, discussion rooms, interview rooms, and other necessary amenities are all part of the placement cell's infrastructure.

Global Immersion Program

Symbiosis has established its worldwide projects, in which students travel to prestigious universities throughout the world to study for a semester. Global Immersion Programme is the name given to this arrangement. Courses offered by a few carefully selected partner institutes abroad have been thoroughly researched. Their courses have been changed so that a student can choose courses that are similar to his typical Symbiosis courses. As a result, he can spend a semester at a university overseas and receive credit for the courses he completed there. The pupil is exposed to a global environment as a result of this setup.

The Global Immersion Program (GIP) allows students to spend a semester studying abroad.

Students in this program study for one semester at one of the following universities overseas, with the credit hours, earned being mutually recognised. The Institute uses the Cumulative Grade Point system, allowing credit transferability.

How to Apply?

To get admission into SIT, Pune you will need to appear for the SITEEE exam which is one of the 3 SET entrance exams specifically built for engineering courses.

A candidate who wishes to submit his or her candidature for one of the UG programs must also complete the payment process for that program before the payment deadline. The only way to pay for the programs is to use the website (set-test.org).

Complete the online registration process - (Part II) for Program (s) registration and the corresponding institute after making the SET/SLAT/ SITEEE payment (s). At this step, an applicant must make a separate non-refundable and non-transferable payment of INR 1000/- for each program and institute.
